The 2010 vintage of Finca Comabarra from Tomàs Cusiné was awarded second best Spanish wine according to wine expertise Juan Fernández-Cuesta and his wine guide issued by ABC.
Finca Comabarra shared position with one wine DO Toro and another two more Catalan wines, all behind the winery 's 904 Gran Reserva Rioja Alta, that scored in the first place .
Fernández-Cuesta defines Cusiné’s wine -Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Grenache and Syrah- as "Awesome, enhancing from the absolute finesse of mineral notes on the nose to balance gorgeous mouth” and what he describes as "peace, perfume, essence of life. "
Also, other wines from the cellar Tomàs Cusiné and the DO Costers Segre were present in this ABC Guide edition. This is the case of Geol (Tomàs Cusiné) and Quest (Castell d’Encús) with 95 points; the white Finca La Serra (Tomàs Cusiné), Taleia, Ekam, Thalarn and Acusp (Castell d’Encús) with 94; Vilosell (Tomàs Cusiné), with a total of 93 points; with 92 points Cérvoles (Cérvoles Celler) and Ànima (Raimat ); and Auzells (Tomàs Cusiné) with 91 points.
